The AquaFX 10" Carbon Block for RO pre-treatment is rated for approximately 3,750 gallons of water at 2ppm CI. The worst thing you can do is neglect your carbon block and allow Chlorine (CI) to come in contact with your TFC RO membrane. AquaFX Carbon Blocks are perfect for chlorine removal, VOC (volatile organic compound) removal, and elimination of herbicides, pesticides, and other contaminants.
