Bestway Hose Adaptor is a simple and effective way to give small above ground pools the pumping power of larger models. Small pools have a hose inlet and outlet measuring 11/4in. The inlet and outlet are used to connect 11/4in hoses to an external filter pump, controlling water flow from pool to pump and pump to pool. However the most powerful filter pumps, including sand filter pumps, are only compatible with 11/2in hoses. As a result a 10ft pool is only compatible with a filter that pumps 330 gallons of water per hour. By using hose adaptors you'd effectively be able to use a powerful 1,500 gal/hr. filter pump or sand filter with your 10ft pool, improving water flow and creating a cleaner swimming environment.
