-Recommended for chemists, metallurgists and others involved in high temperature work demanding free results.
-For use in reducing and oxidizing atmospheres and refractory metals (such as molybdenum, platinum, rhodium, tungsten, tantalum, and iridium).
-Heating or too fast or uneven heating may crack the crucibles. Slow down the heating / rate is good for extending its lifespan.
-Alumina crucibles CAN NOT heated by open fire.
