Fiberglass wire is not recommended for use in moist or wet environments. Exposed-junction probes are not recommended for use with aqueous solutions. Do not subject Type J exposed-junction probes to moisture as they will rust. High-temperature fiberglass insulated wire used for high-temperature measurements response time: 0.75 seconds or greater all insulated-wire probes include straight insulated cable with no handle and feature ANSI color-coded mini connectors: Type K - yellow, and Type J - black.. custom designs or changes to this product are available upon request
