- In our experience, one of the most difficult points to overcome when treating Cushings / PPID naturally with Vitex Agnus Castus (aka Chasteberry) is that the standard powder has quite a strong smell and taste. Many fussy eaters will refuse to eat their feed and at 15g for a pony and 30g for a horse, it can be incredibly hard to disguise and feed consistently.
- From the positive feedback we have received so far we have been told it is so much easier to feed than the standard powder, with far less smell and taste. Most importantly perhaps, the concentrate contains at least 10x more active ingredient than standard powder, meaning one 3g scoop is equivalent to 30g of standard powder - far easier to conceal in feed or a treat!
