Tips: Make sure you strip out the end of the wire long enough for them to overlap one another and stay in the area of the solder sleeve. Step 2 Apply heat to the connector slowly and evenly with a heat gun with reflector nozzle until it melt with the wire. Tips: Some of our customers can use lighter to finish the joint, but we strongly recommend to use a heat gun with REFLECTOR NOZZLE to heat shrink the connector, especially for beginners. Step 3 Finished item display. Tips: In some case, a solder ring mark will be left after the tin ring was melt, but it doesn't mean the tin ring is not melted and it fails. As long as there are enough tin melt with the copper then it will hold up strongly, it is unnecessary to pursue 100% meltdown of the solder ring.
