This choke collar from Herm Sprenger consists of a chain with 4 mm wire gauge and 2 O-rings. The chain itself consists of medium sized links which don’t tangle and pull out dog’s fur. If you have a short-haired canine, this device will suit for him perfectly. For long-haired canines choose a long link chain collar. The principle of work of this gear is in traction effect. When you pull the leash, the chain runs fast through the O-ring to bring you immediate behavior correction. This chain collar is 23 inches/59 cm long. It will fit canines with 20-21 inches/50-53 cm neck size.How to measure your dog for the chain collar: Measure 1) the largest part of your dog's head, and 2) the middle of his/her neck. Determine the size of the collar you need using your dog’s head measurements if your dog's head is larger than his/her neck.
