The Ideal 35-088 is a scissor with stripping notch. These scissors cut up to 16 AWG solid and 12 AWG stranded wire. The blade has a serrated surface on the back side for stripping 19 AWG and 23 AWG wire. Best used in telephone and electrical service applications. The whole body of this tool is covered in a chrome finish over a nickel plating.
