This platform would make an excellent gift and cage accessory for your pet bird/birds. The main purpose is to utilise more of the available space in or out the cage and to give the bird more landing areas and to generally make life healthier and easier for the bird. Its a large platform so there is plenty of room to play, stretch out those busy feet, rest, relax and to lie down. Its designed mainly for smaller birds such as: cockatiels, budgies, canaries and for several smaller birds together. It's recommended for bigger and stronger cages that have strong bars to accommodate the weight and size. It can be used either outside or inside the cage. The base is made from natural redwood with smooth straight edges and the top layer has a beech dowling wood tube perimeter which is great for toys that clip on and to give the platform a perch look and feel and to provide a barrier to hold in the toys and foods such as millet and fruits. Attaching the platform couldn't be easier. All you have to do is insert the stainless steel bolts, then attach the washers then screw on the wingnuts. Your bird will love it! Here is what's included: 1 x redwood platform with beech doweling perimeter, 2 x threads (stainless steel) 4 x washers (stainless steel), 2 x wingnuts (stainless steel) and 1 x Kagesan sandpaper mat. Only the best quality wood is used. First its inspected, drilled and sanded, leaving quality wood for the base. We recommend a removable/replaceable mat on the platform to absorb litter, etc., so we have included a cut to fit Kagesan sandpaper mat. High quality, strong, dense beech wood is screwed on to the platform to provide a perch look and feel and to provide a barrier/perimeter which will help to hold in the toys and food, etc., and will resist against the strongest of beaks!
