JOR Hang-On Power Filter Set-Up Remove microsponge filter and rinse before inserting into power filter Insert sponge into the larger of the power filter’s 2 chambers Insert the J-shaped plastic tube into the motor Connect the T-shaped tube to the end of the J-shaped tube Connect the small L-shaped tube and chimney filter onto the horizontal small end of the T-shaped connector-this is your superficial skimmer Connect the long straight tube and plastic filter tube to the bottom of the “T-”shaped connector-this is your submerged filter tube Hang the power filter on the edge of your tank, below the motor is the aligning button adjust this to ensure your power filter hangs level. Add water to prime the filter and then plug in to begin filtering. Use the flow switch-coming from the J-shaped tube, it faces you-to customize the force of filtration.
