Nikura Pure Neem Oil - 100% Natural Coming from the tropical neem tree (Azedarach indica) known also as “Indian Lilac” and commonly used as an ornamental shade tree, this natural oil has many traditional uses in addition to its extensive garden usage. It is also currently an ingredient in many organic cosmetic products. Neem oil can be used as a fungicide, insecticide and miticide and is a safe non-toxic pesticide that leaves no dangerous residue in the soil. This oil prevents and controls powdery mildew, black spots, leaf spots, botrytis, fungal disease and many other problems often experienced in the garden. Key Facts and Directions: Make sure to do a patch test on any plants you wish to apply neem oil, as some plants can be killed by the oil. Spray a small area (like a leaf) of a plant and wait 24 hours and see if the leaf has any damage. Apply neem oil to plants only in indirect sunlight or in the evening to avoid the foliage burning and allow the treatment to seep into the rest of the plant. Please always perform a patch test before use. This natural product cannot be guaranteed free from traces of nuts or other allergens. Do not take internally. Store in a dark and cool place. The Neem tree is thought to be of divine origin, according to Indian mythology ‘The Elixir of Immortality’ was being carried to heaven and a few drops of it fell on the Neem tree. This tree was trusted to fortify their health, and as a remedy for countless diseases and ailments. The leaves from this tree, the oils and the bark were used broadly for many health problems, repellents and fertiliser for plants and crops. Perfect for Gardening Proven to be most useful in young plant growth, this oil reduces insect feeding and acts as a repellent, interfering with insect hormone systems making it harder for insects to grow and lay eggs. This oil has a life of about 3 – 22 days in soil, but only 45 minutes to 4 days in water, so make sure to prepare a fresh batch of spray each time! Great addition to your skincare regime Neem oil contains many ingredients incredibly beneficial to the skin and is commonly used in beauty regimes to treat dry skin and wrinkles, stimulate collagen production, reduce scar appearance, heal wounds, treat acne and many other applications.
