A light bulb is not included with the SunGrow Lamp Clamp so that you can choose one that suits your specific pets and their needs. You can use heat bulbs, halogen tubes, infrared bulbs and others that are less than 200 watts. If the power is too high, the light fixture can't carry such a large load. How Reliable is the SunGrow Heat Light Fixture? Along with being accredited by Underwriters Laboratories (UL Listed) and certified by the European Conformity standards (CE certified), the heat lamp fixture is constructed with high-quality materials. The durable plastic clamp grips tightly with rubber pads while the lamp head is made of metal so you can use it either with E26 or E27 lamp plug type. Our light fixture has a reliable copper wiring.
