If the text under "Windows Hello Fingerprint" says "This option is currently unavailable", it means that Windows has not detected the device yet. Sometimes, Device Manager initially put it under “Other Devices”. This prevents Windows Update from automatically finding and installing the latest driver for it. Then, go to Windows Update and then click on “View Optional Updates” and then locate the correct driver under the list and manually start the download “ELAN Finger Print – Biometric 7/7/2017 1.1.0.2111” from the list.
