Webb abrasive's clog resistant technology, a unique combination of factors, creates a long-lasting, clog resistant sponge superior to any other. Unlike other sanding sponges, the adhesive is heat-resistant and will not become gummy when heated by friction. This keeps the grit from sinking into the sponge, rendering the sponge useless. Crt allows the sponge to last longer and be much more effective. The soft, blue foam pad provides even pressure and good control. Less force means less heat and hot spots, resulting in a more even sanding surface. The flexible foam can be contoured to any shape, relieving the pressure on the grit's cutting points. Webb abrasives grit, sitting on its base of flexible adhesive, sweeps back and forth allowing the sponge to cut aggressively. A thin, clear coat of polymer applied to the grit creates a barrier to further prevent clogging.
