This bundle kit of 2 cables one being the DB25 pin Female cable while the other is the OBD2 16-pin cable. Refer to main photo to see what is included. Cables are Generic / Aftermarket Heavy Duty with no markings or part numbers. Please make sure you have a known good OBDII Smart Box to start with. This kit will only fix torn or damaged OBD2 port or 25 Pin connector cables; you will use your same Smart Box 3421-88. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Remove expansion port from Smart Cable Box (very important or else you will damage) (2) Remove 4 Philips screws on the back (3) Remove bottom cover and take green PCB board out; handle PCB by its edges try not to touch small components (4) Remove both old cables from green PCB board (Just pull, if it’s hard just move slightly side to side to loosen as you pull up). Please note the small tab key in the middle of each connector will go into the cutout on the socket where it plugs in. This will allow you to insert the connector in the proper direction. (5) Insert new cables in (maybe hard at first to plug in because of new pins). (6) Handle cable connectors carefully NEVER push or pull on small wires; always use the connector itself when inserting or removing the cable from PCB (7) Insert cable relief rubber connectors inside case cutout box inserts, and then slowly push PCB board in. (8) Insert bottom cover, make sure all 4 screw holes align in order for cover to close properly (9) Insert screws and tighten as necessary; Insert Expansion Port (10)YOU ARE DONE!!
